What is Iridology?
Iridology is a scientific study of health that exams the color, pigment and structure of the iris, the sclera (white part of the eye) and the pupil. Iridology is not new. The study of the eye dates back to more than 6000 years ago. It was practiced in Ancient China and by Physician Hippocrates in Ancient Greece. Since the late 1800’s, modern iridology has developed in Europe, North America and other parts of the world.
Are you disappointed with traditional medicine failing you? Are you frustrated of feeling constantly tired, bloated and unmotivated? Do you get every cold that comes around? Do you suffer from a foggy mind and hate being told there is nothing wrong with you, it’s all in your head?
A consultation with me consists of using a tool called, “Iridology”. Iridology is a non-invasive, painless screening tool to assess which areas of the body are genetically strong and which are deficient. Each iris comes with its own unique pattern of colors, fiber density and structures and are a reflection of your genetic inheritance stemming from three generations back. Whether you develop your genetic weaknesses or not, depends entirely on the way you eat, drink, think, live and love. The assessment is simply performed by taking digital pictures of your iris, pupil and sclera. Like fingerprints, no two irises are alike, including ours. Each color and marking has a specific meaning for each individual.
Iridology allows us to identify weaknesses or familial patterns such as:
-
Gastrointestinal disorders
-
Hypoglycemia
-
Inflammation
-
Anxiety
-
Liver toxicity
-
Heart problems
-
Certain foods that a person may have difficulty digesting or utilizing
-
Areas of the spine that may have subluxation
-
Show potential Central and Autonomic nervous system imbalance
-
Circulatory disturbances
-
Tendency for varicose veins, hernias, hemorrhoids or scoliosis
-
Potential for glandular deficiencies
-
Potential for high uric acid levels & serum cholesterol levels
My responsibility towards my client is to listen carefully to their needs. They need to be heard and most importantly, they need to be guided and educated back to vital health. Prevention is our optimal goal. An Iridology assessment allows me to identify each person’s specific nurture points. It enables you to accept the responsibility of taking care of yourself.

Certified Naturopath, Iridologist, Sclerology, Herbology
I have been intrigued and passionate with Naturopathy for most of my life. I have experienced many health challenges, leaving me to believe and fully trust not only in the universe, but most importantly, in the power that our bodies exude; especially when ill. In my late teens, I suffered with chronic constipation problems. A health issue that has become so common and affects over 63 million people today. One of the greatest gifts that my mom could have ever given me was to take me to a Naturopath. It was at that very first visit with a Naturopath where I began to fully understand my body a little better and essentially make the connection that the mind and gut share. Upon heeding his advice, within just several weeks, I no longer suffered from constipation. It was that experience that led me to learn more and more about how resilient and powerful our bodies are and I have been intrigued in Holistic medicine ever since.
.
I have personally learned that letting go of old habits and perceptions is not easy. It takes commitment and determination to succeed. I have also learned that an open mind is the most teachable. The question remains then, how long do you want to suffer? Fear of the unknown keeps us stagnant and complacent. So then I enervate, if what we’re doing right now is not working, why not look at the alternative? Holistic medicine addresses itself to the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of those who care about their health. The promotion of health and the prevention of disease should be a priority above all other things in our life. Our bodies are resilient, beautiful and amazing and when given the opportunity to heal, they give back and more. That is why the body needs to be respected because it is a gift from God.
